Changing attitudes and lives

By educating communities about disability, we can change attitudes and breakdown the myths and barriers hindering disabled people from participating in everyday community life. This picture shows discussions about disability and disability rights. As present-day classmates, as well as colleagues and employees of the future, these children can help create a community where people with a disability enjoy the same opportunities as others – like going to school and getting a job.

Disabled people represent the biggest definable disadvantaged group in the world (400 million R; 2006).
