ADDC are holding a Practitioner Interest Forum to provide an opportunity to connect and learn from shared stories of what is working well to include people with disabilities in development work. The morning will include TEAR Australia sharing their recent Photovoice study on inclusion of people with psychosocial disability in rural India and Nepal, and World Vision Australia sharing about their economic development project that is effectively reaching women and people with disabilities – and particularly many women with disabilities – in Sri Lanka.

All attendees are also invited to prepare (or even just think about) an example, story or case study of disability inclusion in their work. Through facilitated small group discussion we will share these stories, workshop barriers together and draw out common themes to success.
