Governance

ADDC is an Australian based international network of agencies working on and interested in disability in developing countries. Our network includes a wide range of implementing agencies with extensive background and experience in disability and development. Our members include non-government organisations, Disabled People’s Organisations (DPOs), government, academic institutions and interested individuals. As such, ADDC is a key reference group for the Australian disability and development sector. This includes working with the Australian Government and the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade to develop, implement, evaluate and monitor their Development for All 2015-2020  strategy for disability-inclusion across Australia’s aid program.

ADDC is led by an Executive Committee  that is elected by our members every two years. The Executive Committee members are responsible for the governance of ADDC. The committee are tasked with the development and approval of policy positions, strategic and work plans, advocacy activities and budgets in consultation with members.
